The Story Behind A2Z Civil Engineers

Across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and beyond, engineering firms are struggling to keep up with increasing workloads, rising competition, a shortage of qualified engineers, and the financial risks that come with scaling their operations. The pressure to deliver high-quality work faster and more efficiently has never been greater.

Meanwhile in Vietnam, many engineers possess strong technical foundations, modern software skills, solid English proficiency, and early familiarity with international standards such as AASHTO (GDHS-7, GDPS-4-M, GPF-2, HSM-1, MEPDG-3, RSDG-4), FHWA HIF-12-026, MUTCD, ASTM, ADA, HEC-22,.. often introduced as part of their university curriculum. This talent pool is fully capable of contributing to the complex demands of global civil engineering projects when given the opportunity.

With over 10 years of experience working at leading firms such as South Transport Engineering Design Joint Stock Incorporated (TEDIS), B.R Design Consultant Co., Ltd, and TW-ASIA Consultants (Singapore) – and gaining firsthand experience on multinational, standards-driven projects – Henry Lu recognized a powerful opportunity.

He realized that Vietnam’s engineering talent could help address the growing needs of companies worldwide, not merely as drafting support but as true engineering partners able to deliver reliable, technically sound work for international markets.

This belief became the driving force behind the creation of A2Z Civil Engineers (A2ZCE) – a firm dedicated to unlocking that potential and bringing civil engineering services from Vietnam to the global market.

Since its establishment, A2Z Civil Engineers has earned the trust of clients across multiple continents – particularly in the United States – by delivering high-quality civil engineering and drafting work with accuracy, responsiveness, and strict adherence to standards. Over time, A2Z Civil Engineers has become a dependable extension of our clients’ teams.
